Old Folio Map - Modern Digital Filed Plan Overlay
As you may already be aware, the Land Registry has in recent years upgraded our old folio maps to modern digital filed plans. An Indian contractor was used for “tracing” our boundaries onto computer.
Since the PRAI’s digital land registry system went live a lot of discrepancies between old and new folios have become apparent. In response to this, the Land Registry has set up a special group to deal with these discrepancies. To rectify these errors in property registration, they require the landowner/agent to both illustrate the error and supply them with an old folio map.
